  1. About These Terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through our website, thewoodmanfurniture.co.uk, operated by The Woodman Furniture Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before purchasing.

  1. Orders
  • All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
  • Full payment is required at the time of order unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order for any reason, including pricing or product errors.
  • Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email summarising your purchase details.
  1. Pricing & Payment
  • All prices are displayed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
  • We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and bank transfer.
  • Prices and availability are subject to change without notice.
  • If a pricing error is discovered, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm whether you wish to proceed or cancel.
  1. Made-to-Order & Bespoke Furniture
  • All made-to-order and bespoke furniture is handcrafted to order.
  • Current production lead time is 8 to 12 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Lead times are estimates and may vary slightly based on materials and schedule.
  • Each piece is unique, and natural variations in wood grain, tone, and finish are to be expected and are not considered defects.
  • Once production has started, bespoke and made-to-order items cannot be cancelled or refunded.
  1. Cancellations
  • Orders may be cancelled within 14 working days of placement, provided that production has not yet begun.
  • After 14 days, cancellations are at our discretion and may incur a restocking or cancellation fee of up to 25 percent of the order value.
  • Once a made-to-order item enters production, the order cannot be cancelled.
  1. Product Quality & Warranty
  • All furniture is carefully inspected by our team before dispatch to ensure it meets our standards for finish, build, and presentation.
  • As our products are made from natural materials, variations in colour, grain, and texture are normal and enhance the character of each piece.
  • We do not offer a separate warranty, but all items are covered by statutory consumer rights under UK law, which entitles customers to a repair, replacement, or refund if the item is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose at the time of delivery.
  1. Faults or Damages
  • If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery, including clear photos and your order details.
  • We will review the issue and, if confirmed, arrange a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate.
  • We cannot accept claims for damage reported after this period.
  1. Liability
  • Our liability is limited strictly to the value of the goods purchased.
  • We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, including business interruption, missed deadlines, or inconvenience.
  • Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
